Here at Pinewood Academy, there are two species. Humans and "Halfies".
Halfies are half animal, half human. They naturally take on their animal diet (if they're part wolf, they will most likely be a carnivore.) If a Halfie has been injured badly or is too energetically deprived, they will return to their animal form. They can possess certain animal traits like wings and a tail, but there are rules to this.
Can's:
Have wings
Have a tail
Have ears
Have any other sort of animal limb
A small amount of fur/scales somewhere on their bodies
Cannot's:
Have several different animal traits. Pick one animal and stick with it.
Have their entire body covered in fur/scales. They aren't furrys.
Be in animal form during classes.
Humans tend to be "racist" towards the Halfies. Your character is allowed to be nice to them, but it is encouraged that the rivalry between the species is primarily focused when creating your character. It is mandatory that teachers treat the Halfies with respect, but if they catch a student being "racist" towards them, the student will face punishment.
